Making sure all the instruments sound cool and play nice with each other.

The final stage of the production process, putting on that last bit of polish and making sure that it not only sounds good across listening environments, but also sounds competitive with other artists in your genre.

About Me!

Hi! My name is Lilian Blair! I am a producer and engineer in the Seattle area, specializing in studio recording and album nurturing to help bring your musical dreams to fruition at the best possible level. A bit about me: I studied audio engineering at Shoreline Community College, receiving my A.A.A.S in 2016 (I also have a B.A in creative writing from the University of Washington which comes in handy during preproduction), after which I interned at Seattle’s legendary London Bridge Studios in 2017. There I learned all about big studio rock records and how to record drums with, some would say, too many microphones. I say you can never have to many microphones! After London Bridge I moved on to The Vera Project, where I am a staff engineer and audio educator, teaching what I know about studio engineering to the next generation of engineers!


While I have experience working with all sorts of genres, my main focus is on rock and roll, and everything that comes under that umbrella. Some artists I’ve worked with include Naked Giants, Left At London, Jason McCue, and King Sheim. You can see my full discography on my music page. While most of my work is done at The Vera Project, I’ve also worked out of Seattle’s Mysterious Red X, London Bridge, and Robert Lang Studios. Big, fancy, and fun!

I consider myself a love and support producer. My job is to help you be your very best, which involves everything from being the first fan to hear the songs, providing a sounding board and encouraging inspiration to take your art to the next level. I don’t tell you what to play, that’s your job. Mine is to help you find it.
